Several challenges were encountered during the project’s planning:
- Precision in Sensor Selection: Finding sensors that could accurately detect the distance between the carriers and potential obstacles.
- Visibility and Effectiveness: Ensuring that the tower lights were not only visible from a distance but also highly effective.
- Reliable Detection: Implementing a dependable system that could accurately detect obstacles while avoiding false alarms.
Solution
Future Hub’s team devised an effective solution, utilizing technology and expertise:
- Sensor Selection: We deployed 9 AUTONICS BX700-DFR sensors, strategically grouped in two sets – 4 and 5 sensors – on the carriers.
- Tower Light Integration: Additionally, 2 Q-LIGHT tower lights were mounted on the carriers.
- Precise Detection: The system was meticulously designed to activate the tower lights and sound an alarm when the bridge structures approached within a 50 cm proximity to obstacles.
- Comprehensive Support: Our team managed all aspects, including wiring, system design, and provided on-site support throughout the installation process.
